It is understood that the feed pump used by the filter press is not an ordinary centrifugal water pump, but a special pump for the filter press. Compared with ordinary centrifugal water pumps, it has the following characteristics: from the large flow of powder in the early stage of feeding to the long time in the later stage of pressing. The time is high and the pressure is forced, the motor cannot be overloaded, and the performance curve is steep. As the feeding resistance changes, the automatic conversion between large flow and low pressure and small flow and high pressure is realized, and high pressure is always maintained without leakage.
The special pump for the filter press adopts a double impeller structure and a reverse-mounted impeller and negative pressure sealing structure, which solves the problems of operation without overload, pump holding, leakage, etc., and can achieve low speed and high pressure, reducing the wear of the water pump.
The Membrane Filter Press works for a period of time. When the filter cake in the filter chamber is filled with Filter Cloth, the equipment will no longer be able to continue the Solid-Liquid Separation work. At this time, the feeding system of the membrane filter press stops feeding, and the feeding hole temporarily closure.
Next, the Filter Plate expansion system of the membrane filter press begins to work. First, start the hydraulic pump, and then press continuous hydraulic oil into the filter plate. Then, a large amount of hydraulic oil accumulates in the hollow space where the pressure filtration occurs. When the hydraulic oil continues to increase, the filter plate will expand outward, so that the filter cake will be squeezed and the volume of the filter cake will decrease, and the excess liquid will be discharged. This entire process achieves Solid-liquid Separation.
