Traditional environmentally friendly mechanical dehydration equipment such as belt filter presses, centrifuges and ordinary filter presses can only dewater sludge to a moisture content of about 80%, while sludge with a water content of 80% is still in a fluid-flow plastic state. The mechanical properties are extremely poor, and the compressive strength is less than 20kPa. When the moisture content of sludge is 60% to 65%, it is in the form of viscous slurry, and the water molecules are wrapped by a layer of colloid. This area is called the "viscous phase area" of sludge, and is the most difficult stage for Solid-liquid Separation and dehydration of sludge. . The Membrane Filter Press can be used to process sludge to a moisture content of 60%. Sludge with a moisture content below 60% is solid, does not produce leachate, and can be directly sent to the landfill. Breaking through the "viscous phase zone" of sludge enables better dispersion of sludge, laying the foundation for harmless disposal and resource utilization of sludge.
In addition, after the sludge moisture content peaks at 60%, composting can reduce the fermentation cycle by half and increase economic benefits. Dry mud cake can also be made into solid fuel, which can be incinerated after preparation to recover energy, or used as an auxiliary material for making bricks and cement. The amount of sludge produced can be reduced by more than 50%, significantly improving the level of sludge reduction and reducing the difficulty of transportation. ,Save transportation costs.
