Due to the lack of reliable equipment and processes, the dehydration operation of fine-grained iron concentrate (hereinafter referred to as mud ore) has become a difficult problem. Taking the mineral processing plant as an example, the main black minerals in rich iron ore include magnetite, pseudo and semi-artificial hematite, siderite and pyrite.
After using the plate and frame Filter Press, the dewatering of fine, muddy and sticky materials can be effectively achieved. Before the plate and frame filter press is put into the dehydration process, since it is difficult to recover the mud and coarse iron concentrate at the same time using the internal filter, the fine mud continues to accumulate during the dehydration process and eventually overflows from the overflow port. Part of the 50m thickener enters the exposure pool for settlement, and part enters the river with the overflow.
